Eddy-current methods of non-destructive testing are remarkable for high informative properties. The reason is that amplitude, the phase and spatial distribution of secondary magnetic field depends on the sizes, the form, spatial position of the object in the initial magnetic field, and also from the object structure and electromagnetic properties of its material. Large amount of these influencing parameters needs correspondent quantity of measuring parameters of eddy-current probe's signal. One of the ways to increase the amount of parameters in the signal is to apply the magnetic fields with non-stationary direction. Measuring the secondary magnetic field parameters with different mutual directions increases the testing descriptiveness. There exist several methods of changing the direction of magnetic field. We offer the method based on generation a magnetic field with three orthogonal components with slightly different synchronized frequencies. This method is simply in realization and fast in the process of measuring.
