| Summary: | Заглавие с титульного экрана This paper presents the results of the effect of different combinations of heat treatment and nanostructuring of the surface layers on the fatigue life of 09G2S steel. One of the most important scientific and technical problems of our time is the problem of extending the life of the safe operation of potentially dangerous high-risk facilities, without accidents and pollution. These systems include the main gas pipelines of the increased risk of them technological accidents caused by lack of operational reliability of the metal. Conducted fatigue tests have shown the effectiveness of the use of ultrasonic mechanical forging surface layers of 09G2S steel. Fatigue strength of 09G2S steel with nanostructured surface layer is greater than 80,000 cycles, which is 3.4 times the fatigue life of the quenched samples without nanostructured surface layer, while maintaining the high thermal stability of the nanostructure. Therefore, the formation of the nanostructured surface layer of the structural steel increase cracks initiation voltage. |
