The algorithms of definition of leak parameters in the pipelines, received by the decision of the equations of the hydrodynamic processes proceeding at occurrence of leaks in them are considered. This algorithms are based onmeasurement of pressure change in a pipe in time. Working capacity of algorithms by means of the virtual pipeline constructed in software package COMSOL Multiphysics is checked up. Results of research are presented
