At present time, most of the developed oil fields are characterized by a high content of wax, which reduce low-temperature properties of oil and make them difficult to transport because of the formation on the walls of the pipeline asphaltene deposits and increase viscosity characteristics.The only way to reduce the cost of production and transportation of these oils is the control of their rheological properties using special methods of influence.Study of the effect of magnetic treatment on the viscosity - temperature properties of oil have shown that this effect leads to the complete or partial destruction of the crystal structure of paraffinic hydrocarbons.
