| Summary: | Заглавие с экрана Right now analog-to-digital converter used for measuring current of particle beam of microtron. It measures impulse amplitude while the most complete information about the current value is contained in the area under the peak of the pulse. For such measurements we need to use a charge-to-digital converter. But it was decided to analyze the possibility of using a digital oscilloscope GDS-2064 for measuring the current in real time instead of charge-to-digital converter. GDS-2064 has automatic measurement Vavg -the sum of all the samples divided by the number of samples. Using this function is the same as using the charge-to-digital converter for current measurement. But regular software package can't, provide removing of digital data with sufficiently high frequency . So there is a need of development highly specialized software that meets these challenges. It was decided to write a program using C# language. The algorithm is simple: first they give the initial conditions ( command, time interval between timer tick and expected response time) and then start the timer. For each tick mentioned command sent to the oscilloscope. It returns the value and the time it took to complete the operation. Using the program was found response time of GDS-2064: it varies from 12.25 to 97.25 ms has a discrete set of values. Further studies will reduce the time to an acceptable level. Brought to mind the software will make it possible to measure in real time the area under the peak of the pulse of the microtron, which will significantly reduce the measurement error in the experiments. |
