| Summary: | A method is proposed for calculating the stresses in films of polymer-filled systems which permits evaluation of the effect of the polymer components on the properties of the composite, the deformation of which proceeds either with separation at the interphase boundary, or under conditions of uniform (`affine') deformation of the filler particles and the binder.
