Organic azides are valuable products of organic synthesis, which finds wide application in many fields of chemistry. Aromatic diazonium salts are the most promising substrates for arylazide synthesis. Arendiazonium tosylates ADT, which were previously obtained by us, have unique stability for the diazonium salts and good solubility in water. This type of salt was first used by us for the synthesis of a wide range of aromatic azides with high yields. We propose an effective and convenient one-pot method for arylazide synthesis using aromatic amines, the general character of these reactions was shown.
