The book provides a comprehensive discussion on security and threats, describes the examples of crisis situations faced by people across regions of Africa, Asia, and Europe: the border ethnicity conflict experienced by the Rwandan refugees in Uganda, the impact of terrorism on critical infrastructure in Somalia, the Covid 19 pandemic impact on the Pakistani, and finally the pollution of the Oder Basin. The challenges described in the book are of different nature and have arisen from a variety of global settings, yet they all implemented effective and more adaptive, cooperative methods for civil protection on a national and international level.
