Samenvatting:Title screen
The paper deals with severe plastic deformation (SPD) which leads to the formation of ultrafine-grained (β + α + ω) and (β + ω) structures, respectively, in Ti-Nb-Zr and Ti-Nb-Zr-Ta-Sn alloys thus having a strong impact on their mechanical properties. The presence of the α-phase additionally contributes to the Ti-Nb-Zr alloy hardening and considerably improves its strength properties, reducing its ductility and Young’s modulus after SPD. Multicomponent alloying of the Ti-Nb-Zr-Ta-Sn alloy with Nb, Zr, Ta, Sn elements stabilizes the β-phase and does not reduce the alloy ductility and Young’s modulus. At the same time, the increase in the strength properties in this case turns out to be less significant
