The phase composition and microstructure characteristics of sintered cylindrical specimens of 12 % chromium ferritic-martensitic steel were investigated using transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis, and optical metallography. The formation of a characteristic high-defect lamellar martensitic structure with M3C carbide particles and retained austenite, appearing as interlayers along grain boundaries, was observed. Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) results revealed heterogeneity in the elemental composition across different structural regions, particularly in the distribution of Cr and Ni. The microhardness distribution along the diameter and height of the cylindrical specimen was relatively uniform; however, significant point-to-point variations in microhardness values were noted
