The work presents the results of a study on the effect of structural characteristics of titanium-based nanoscale coatings on photocatalytic activity by the method of photodestruction of rhodamine-G and methylene blue dyes. The influence of the structural modification of oxynitride coatings on the photodegradation of the dye under ultraviolet irradiation was established. The degree of discoloration of the dye solution with TiNxOy oxynitride coating was 8 times greater than that for pure titanium dioxide coating
