Zusammenfassung:Title screen
This research explores the possibilities of using alternative low-boiling components to enable the fragmentation of droplets. The range of potential substitutes of water to trigger the breakup of two-liquid droplets was analyzed according to their properties and areas of application. Acids (formic and acetic) and alkanolamines (monoethanolamine and diethanolamine) were chosen for the experiments on the basis of a multicriteria analysis. The selected fuel components were kerosene, Diesel fuel, gasoline and rapeseed oil, as they are most widely used in fuel systems of power plants and engines. Following the experimental research, maps of fragmentation regimes were plotted considering the dimensionless mathematical processing. Relationships were obtained between the temporal characteristics of droplet breakup and droplet sizes, heating rates, concentration and type of components. The lifetime of droplets with microexplosive fragmentation and without it was compared
