Riassunto:Title screen
Environmentally friendly conversion of waste and energy carriers into useful and energy-efficient products is one of the forefront areas worldwide. In this paper presents the experimental results on disposal of frying oils (sunflower oil (including waste oil), corn oil, olive oil, peanut oil, and grape seed oil) by vacuum-free plasma method. The experiments yielded hydrogen-rich synthesis gas (H2 = 45.7–69.8 vol%, CH4 = 16.0–29.3 vol%, CO = 17.7–22.4 vol%, CO2 = 10.9–16.2 vol%) and nanoscale carbon material with nanoonion shape. The average particle size of the obtained carbon materials ranged from 20 to 50 nm, and a specific surface area attained 34.1–42.2 m2/g. The carbon content exceeded 99 wt%
