Coherent 𝜋0𝜋0 photoproduction on the deuteron in the region of 𝑑*(2380)

| Περίληψη: | Title screen A possible signature of the 𝑑*(2380) dibaryon in the reaction 𝛾𝑑→𝜋0𝜋0𝑑 is explored. To calculate the conventional coherent 𝜋0𝜋0 photoproduction on a deuteron, the 2𝜋MAID model has been updated by fitting its parameters to the set of the modern 𝛾𝑁→𝜋𝜋𝑁 data. Besides the Born and the resonance terms the new model includes additional background in the partial waves with the spin-parity 𝐽𝜋=32± and isospin 𝐼=12. The radiative 𝑑*→𝛾𝑑 width and the contribution of the 𝑑*(2380) component to the 𝛾𝑑→𝜋0𝜋0𝑑 amplitude are evaluated by comparing the resulting theoretical cross section with the data.
