| Yhteenveto: | Title screen The study reports the experimental results of dynamics of water droplet impact on smooth and rough tilted substrates made of stainless steel with different temperature of the surfaces. The influence of the direction of the texture and the temperature of the surface on the characteristics of droplet impact and sliding was studied. The tilt angle of the substrate was varied over a wide range. The Weber number was 100. It was established that the temperature of the surface did not influence the droplet/surface interaction modes. However, at the tilt angle of the substrate more than 20°, the surface temperature began to have an effect on the characteristics of the droplet sliding. The distance a water droplet travelled on the surface from the moment of contact with the substrate to the moment it came to a complete stop (droplet pinning) increased. The greatest influence of the temperature and tilt angle of the surface was observed when the droplet slid over the substrate in the direction not along but across the scratches.
