We suggest optical sensor systems based on the gold nanoparticles embedded within the polymethacrylate matrix for dual-signal spectrophotometric and colorimetric approaches can be used for the determination of glucose in the range of 0.1–0.8 mM and 0.3–0.8 mM with the detection limits of 0.06 mM and 0.1 mM, correspondingly.
