The influence of the structure of nickel-zinc ferrite powders on the behavior of magnetic phase transitions is studied in the Curie point region. The samples with a controlled set of microstresses and sizes of coherent scattering regions are prepared by dry milling of the synthesized ferrites in a ball mill at the rates of 500, 1000, 1500 rev/min for 15, 30, and 60 min. Their structure is examined by the method of X-ray diffraction. An analysis of the magnetic phase transitions in the Curie temperature region is performed using thermogravimetry in a constant magnetic field (thermomagnetometry). The regularities of variations of the powder structure parameters as a function of the frequency-time dry milling modes are identified. A linear regression dependence of the amplitude of the weight section in the thermogravimetry curve in the Curie point region on the value of microstresses and the size of coherent scattering regions is revealed. The findings allow taking account of the influence of these structural characteristics on the shape of the thermograms in the region of magnetic phase transitions and provide a more precise interpretation of the thermomagnetometric results.
