In this work, Al2O3 preceramic paper supports were fabricated by the spark plasma sintering method. The microstructure and phase composition of the samples were investigated by Xray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy. The open porosity and apparent density were measured by hydrostatic weighing method. The maximum permeability value was 22.1⸱10-10 mol(H2)/(m∙s∙Pa) for the sample synthesised at T=1300 °C, with an open porosity of 44.6 % and flexural strength of 14.3 MPa
