Abstract. In this work, mathematical modeling of mixed convection in a channel with heating elements has been carried out using the lattice Boltzmann method. The developed mathematical model has been verified by comparison with the results obtained by other authors, as well as using other numerical methods. The conducted comparative analysis confirms the operability of the developed numerical algorithm. The double distribution function approach has been used in the research process, the BGK operator has been used as the decomposition of the collision operator. As a result of the research, distributions of temperature and velocity fields have been obtained at different flow rates of the cooling medium.
