Structure and Properties of MgAl2O4:Eu3+ and MgAlGaO4:Eu3+ Spinel Ceramics Produced by Radiation Synthesis

| Shrnutí: | Title screen The paper focuses on the synthesis of MgAl2O4:Eu3+ and MgAlGaO4:Eu3+ spinel ceramics using radiation synthesis. It is shown how the average particle size and the particle size distribution in the initial synthetic oxide powders affect the synthesis process. Luminescence properties of the synthesized spinel ceramics are studied and analyzed herein. Luminescent properties of Eu3+ ions are clearly observed in the synthesized spinel ceramics.
