Renewable energy is widely used to provide electricity to consumers isolated from the centralized power supply. When introducing a new renewable energy sources unit into the existing power system, it is necessary to determine its optimal parameters and the equipment co-located with it, including the energy storage system. The article presents the specifics of taking into account the criterion of solar activity when determining the optimal parameters of a new generation system based on renewable energy sources.
