| Sumari: | Title screen A densely sintered ceramic with a protoenstatite crystalline phase was obtained on the basis of fluorinated talc. The influence of BaO and Al2O3 additives on the sintering, structure, and strength of steatite ceramics, which made it possible to lower the sintering temperature of materials to 1225 - 1275 °C due to the formation of a glass phase, was investigated. The addition of ZnO intensifies the sintering of ceramics in the solid phase at 1320°C. At the same time compressive strength significantly increases to 660 MPa, which is triple the strength of traditional steatite materials.
