Résumé:Title screen
The researchers have carried out experimental studies of gaseous products of the joint pyrolysis of power-generating coals, which are typical and widely used in Russia and abroad, and wood (sawdust of pine wood species). According to the research results, it was found that the release of sulfur oxides in the gaseous pyrolysis products of all of the test coal–wood mixtures significantly decreased (by 95% at a high fraction of wood biomass). The applicability of wood to the systematic use as an additive to mixed fuels based on typical power-generating coals of different grades was reasonably proposed to significantly decrease the yield of sulfur oxides in the gaseous products of combustion of these fuels in the furnaces of steam and hot water boilers.
