In this work, we provide the experimental studies of the evolution of distilled water droplet contact angle, contact diameter and height while its spreading over brass surfaces modified by nanosecond laser radiation. Conventionally, four stages of the three-phase contact line movement can be detected: forced and inertial spreading, a state of rest, withdraw. The mechanism of the “solid/gas/liquid” three-phase contact line movement over modified brass surfaces was studied in the selected stages.
