Experimental study of the intensification of ignition and combustion processes of low-reaction fuel (anthracite) using pyrolysis oil obtained as a result of thermal processing of various types of waste (used car tires, sawdust, oil sludge) was conducted. The mass content of the additive was 5 wt%, which was applied to the anthracite powder by the method of incipient wetness impregnation. Ignition and combustion of anthracite samples were carried out in the combustion chamber at heating medium temperatures Tg=600-800 °C. The use of pyrolysis oil has reduced the ignition delay time of anthracite 2.5 times, as well as accelerated the propagation of the combustion front. The results of proximate analysis of the samples under study indicate that addition of pyrolysis oil can also contribute to improving energy and environmental performance.
