| Summary: | Title screen Foreseeably, coal remains one of the main energy sources in the global economy. Huge amounts of hazardous coal mining wastes, coal slack may be converted to useable fuel. Producing high-strength fuel pellets from coal slack using a biomass binder presents an objective. Experimental research into combining coal wastes with wheat bran binder using products’ differential thermal analysis was undertaken. Optimum process parameters of pellet moulding were determined: mixture moisture content 16–19 wt % and wheat bran dry fraction 4–20 wt % at 120–160 °C under the pressure of 75–300 MPa. Pilot-scale implementation of the method was realized meeting moulded fuel standards. Режим доступа: по договору с организацией-держателем ресурса |
