Riassunto:	Заглавие с экрана В статье уточняются понятия «норма», «вариантность» и «вариативность», анализируются различные аспекты функционирования языковой нормы, описывается типология вариантности специальных единиц профессиональной лексики профессиолекта «интеллектуальные энергетические системы» в современном английском языке, выделяются 4 вида вариантов: морфологические; орфографическая; аббревиатурные и композитные, из которых орфографическая характеризуется наибольшей динамичностью и диверсификацией. The article specifies the concepts “norm”, “variation” and “dimorphism”, analyses various aspects of the language norm functioning, describes the typology of special units of professional lexis of the “smart energy systems” professiolect in modern English and distinguishes four main types: morphological, orthographic, acronymous, and composite, where orthographic variation demonstrates the highest dynamism and diversity.
