Рассматриваются темы, связанные с общими понятиями инженерного дела, системами измерений, описанием графической информации, видами и свойствами материалов, общими вопросами научных и технологических инноваций. The objective of the course is to develop professionally-centered foreign language communicative competency by means of blended learning instruction and English for engineering teaching materials. Students are supposed to achieve the level of the professional English communicative competence that will enable them to function adequately in their professional activity in the field of materials science and engineering.
