A device for measuring pressure variations at controlled cross-sections is described. The equations for mass flow and loss coordinates calculation according to the method proposed are derived. The method was investigated using COMSOL Multiphysics 3.5 software. The paper shows that both the method and the associated equations are efficient for pipeline loss detection. |
