In recent years, the prospects for the development of near and far space affect the development of the rocket and space industry in Russia, the United States, China, and other countries. One of the directions for implementing such a program is the development of new fuels, for example gel fuels, and methods for initiating their burning, which can be based on conductive energy supply by a group of small particles heated to high temperatures. The patterns and characteristics of physicochemical processes occurring during the initiation of gel fuel burning differ quite significantly from the regularities and characteristics of the processes occurring when ignition of solid and liquid condensed matter. In this paper, we determined the ignition delay for a typical gel fuel by metal particles of various form. Also, determined the ignition delay times by varying the initial particle temperature.
