Summary:Title screen
Synthesis of luminescent ceramics based on YAG and MgF2 is possible by direct action of a powerful flow of electrons with an energy of 1.4 MeV on the charge from the source powder. It is shown that for MgF2 there is a threshold of the flux power density equal to 13 kW/cm2 , above which the radiation synthesis of ceramics is realized. The existence of the threshold is explained by the fact that the processes associated with ionization of the material are dominant in the synthesis.
