| Summary: | Title screen The composite quasi-liquid fuels made of different industrial waste become more and more attractive for scientists during last years. Coal-water slurry is one of the popular types of such compositions. Addition of the waste petrochemicals into the slurry allows decrease of the ignition delays of such composite for up to 27%. However, it has a non-trivial effect onto the atomization dynamics of the slurry making the size and velocity distributions of the aerosol more stable during propagation of the aerosol cloud. This, in turn, leads to more predictable ignition and combustion of the aerosol. |
