| Περίληψη: | Title screen Molybdenum carbides can be used in one of the most perspective sectors?hydrogen energy. Materials based on molybdenum carbide have high catalytic activity, which allows them to be used as effective inexpensive catalysts in hydrogen generation reactions, associated with the generation and oxidation of hydrogen. One of the main approaches to the obtaining of molybdenum carbides is the electric arc method based on the synthesis of material in DC arc plasma initiated in the gap between graphite electrodes. This article presents the results of a series of experiments on the production of molybdenum carbides, using a vacuumless arc discharge method, and on the influence of energy on the phase composition of the synthesis product.
