The paper discusses the requirements introduced to ultrasonic testing for industrial applications including robotic inspection. The specifics of ultrasonic tomography systems development are discussed in relation to the measuring path design. Requirements to robotic scanner are considered. The block diagram of analog component of single channel system of ultrasonic testing is provided.
