The work describes the developed experimental bench intended for reproduction of installation conditions of submersible thermocouples of industrial design. Results of determination of thermocouples heating times of types K and L with diameters of 8 mm and 6 mm, respectively, required for obtaining reliable values of temperature are presented. Results of experimental determination of required duration of measurement by thermocouples installed in protective sleeve are given. The obtained data show an increase in the response time of the thermocouple to temperature change by 3.7-7.7 times when using protective sleeves.
