| Riassunto: | Title screen In recent years, the development of the world electric power industry is associated with the development of unconventional energy resources, the design and the installation of distributed generations. At the design stage for implementing distributed generations and for determining the location and sizing generators the topologies of the distributed system, methods of connection to electric networks, the requirement to relay protection and automation systems, economic factors, etc. should be considered. Various methods are used for the optimal distribution installations, among which meta-heuristic search algorithms are gaining great popularity. In this article the basic aspects of determining the optimal place of installing distributed power generation in the electric power system are presented, in particular, one of the important parameters when choosing a location for generating sources is the level of the total losses and stabilize voltage level.
