According to the different resources, the volume of hydrocarbons in place that are situates in carbonates reservoirs varies form 40 to 60%. In Russia only 12% of carbonate reservoirs are produced that explained by their structural complexity and high level of porous medium heterogeneity. The present of organic matter of different origin in the formation change the intensity and mechanisms of any digenetic alterations that leads to high heterogeneity. The level of heterogeneity also depends on the tectonic of the region which is highly complex for the basement of the West Siberian basin. The network of fructuers in the carbonate reservoir serves as a system of conducting channels and affects its productivity. In this case, many reservoirs have double porosity: matrix and fracture. At the same time, connecting voids, fructures are the ways to filter fluids. The formation evaluation of the reservoir is necessary for reliable forecasting, calculating reserves and developing hydrocarbon deposits. Taking into account the heterogeneity at different scales faults and fractures the authors of present research would try to estimate the stress state both present and past and to characterize faults in terms of their reactivation and to analyze the fracturing history and the oil migration.
