The results of the evaluation of the spatial distribution of dust and mercuryloads in the territories of two cities are presented. It is determined that the amount of dust loadexceeds background values from tens to hundreds of times, and the degree of dust pollutionvaries from low to very high. Distribution of mercury in the study area is uneven. The mercury content in the solid snow sediment of the city of Iskitim exceeds the mercury content in thecity of Topki by about 20 times
