It is known that wind power plants affect the operation of the power system. The effect is the stronger, the greater the degree of implementation of the wind power plants. Meanwhile, the influence of wind power plants on the work of out-of-step protection is little studied. This article is aimed at a preliminary analysis of this problem. In addition, the paper presents the results of preliminary tests of the developed out-of-step protection models.
