First line strength analysis of 34SO2 in the 2 region: Isotopic relations for the dipole moment parameters

The line strengths of 1572 transitions of the ν˜2 band of the 34SO2 isotopologue centered at 513.5387 cm−1 were determined using high resolution Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy and analyzed with the Hartmann-Tran profile. The line strength data of individual lines were applied then in a fit of parameters of the effective dipole moment operator. Isotopic relations for the dipole moment parameters were derived and used for the fit procedure. The parameters obtained reproduce the initial line strengths with a root mean square deviation drms=4.5%. A list of 7777 experimental transitions of 34SO2 is generated together with the presentation of their individual line strengths predicted on the basis of the effective dipole moment parameters obtained from the fit.
