| Summary: | Title screen The purpose of this article is to study the composition of feedstock and products of the process ofproduction of linear alkylbenzene sulfonic acid as a main component of synthetic detergents. Lightaromatic compounds, contained in sulfonation feedstock, form a highly viscous component as aresult of dealkylation and polymerization reactions. This component is able to accumulate in thesulfonation reactor reducing efficiency and uniformity of the process and the duration of periodbetween reactor washings. |
