The structure, mechanical and tribotechnical properties of biofunctionalized biodegradable vascular grafts based on polyhydroxybutyrate/valerate and polycaprolactone were studied. It was shown that the modification results in an almost twofold decrease of the elongation at break value as well as the ultimate strength. It was revealed that at cyclic contact loading under dry sliding friction the modification does not give rise to wear increase, while the value of friction coefficient remains constant when sliding velocity is varied by eight times. Also, the 4-fold decrease of the friction coefficient under the distilled water boundary lubrication was registered, however the volumetric wear (volume of the wear track) increases three-fold regardless the graft modification.
