| Summary: | Title screen The features of runaway electron avalanches developing in air at different pressures are investigated using a three-dimensional numerical simulation. The simulation results indicate that an avalanche of this type can be characterized, besides the time and length of its exponential growth, by the propagation velocity and by the average kinetic energy of the runaway electrons.
