Рассмотрены причины недостаточной популярности этой науки и показано, что гидрогеология должна резко расширить свои границы: лишь в этом случае она займет лидирующее положение не только среди геол. наук. Last years interest to the future of hydrogeology has increased. Development of this future is treated ambiguously. In article the author considers the reasons of insufficient popularity of this science and shows that the hydrogeology should expand the borders sharply.
