The article defines a conceptual model of use of robotics implementation in higher education. The main idea is development, creation and realization of the cross-disciplinary educational module on robotics which substantial part connects theoretical and practical skills of students in the field of robotic systems management. The technique of carrying out a research work which forms comprehensive idea of robotics is shown. The comparative analysis of the work on projects is given. The estimation criteria are the completeness of knowledge assimilation and students skills in the polytechnic orientation; level of interest in studying mathematics, physics and their technical applications, taking into account the interest to the modern equipment; level of readiness for the choice of the training direction. During the research work the efficiency of the technique of robotics usage developed by authors when studying the discipline "The creative project" is proved.
