The authors of the given article offer a diagram of an inlet part of protection against line-to-ground fault. The article deals with justification of its parameters, at which linear connection on mean values between the signal at protection outlet and input zero-sequence current, both by persistent and arcing intermittent faults, is provided. The article also describes the parameters ensuring thermal stability of protection by double triggering current. Time signal parameters at diagram output are compatible with the characteristics of analog-digital converters used in microprocessor units of relay protection. This diagram can be used for protection against line-to-ground faults in the networks with different neutral grounding modes.
