| Summary: | Title screen The model of formation and dynamics of the sliding contact layer using hydrodynamic approach is suggested. This model is considered through the example of electrical slip brushes of high-temperature (∼500 ° C) conductors Cu-Zr and Cu-Re sliding on the turbogenerator ring. In this study (a) the analysis of the geometry of the sliding layer forms by the particles breaking away from the brush surface and (b) the dependence of the contact layer deviation from the land contour, taking into account the Earth's gravity effect is carried out. The model shows the non-linear behavior of the friction coefficient and the current-voltage characteristics of the contact layer between electrical brushes of high-temperature conductors Cu-Zr and Cu-Re and slip ring (collector) under the electric current of high density.
