Experimental studies of the rheological properties of coal-water fuel (CWF) based on 2B brown coal using a rotary flows modulation device (RFMD) were conducted. RFMD was used in this research as an additional processing step after the first stage of grinding in a ball-mill pulverizer (BMP). Physicochemical properties of the initial solid fuel sample were determined. Influence of these properties on the rheological characteristics of obtained suspension is provided. Dependence of the viscosity change from the method of processing and CWF grinding time with different content of solids was determined. The results showed that the use of RFMD reduces the viscosity of the suspension at 62% as opposed to the single-stage processing with a slight increase in the ignition and combustion time.
