This paper observes an air recuperation system, which proposes the variable frequency drive control mode, ensuring the maintenance of the outgoing air temperature to the dew point to reduce the hoarfrost layer. A mathematical model of the dynamic processes of hoarfrost layer's appearance, allowing the investigation of setting methods of an enclosed temperature control system of inlet air and determination of the structure of this system, is proposed. The algorithm of switching between recuperation modes within the framework of the functioning system is investigated.
