Zusammenfassung:Title screen
The feasibility of a relativistic Cherenkovmicrowave oscillator with no magnetic fieldfor the electron beam energy of ? 0.5 MeV wasstudied. The oscillator geometry with an efficiencyof electron beam power conversion to microwaveradiation of ? 20% was simulated. The estimatedradiation power was 400 MW. In experiment, stableoscillation with ? 6% efficiency was realizedtaking into account the total current of a planardiode producing the electron beam. The microwavepeak power for the operating TM01 wave was140 ? 30 MW at 3.82 GHz.
